Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
The upgrading of your item is an essential element to maximize your gearing potential. It allows you to add bonus stats and bonuses in addition to your base level item's value.
Each upgrade template comes with a set of options that can be set up via the GUI. These options include the upgrade reference and the possibility of upgrading.
Upgrade components
As part of the 2.0 update, the system for upgrading the armor and weapons in Cyberpunk has been improved. Upgrade components are scattered across Night City. The item you wish to upgrade must also have an upgrade slot. The game will show a preview of the expected stats for the item after upgrading. It will also display the component or material required. If you don't have the required level or resource to upgrade an item, the button will read "Blocked."
Weapons and armor can be upgraded, as well as some trinkets and gathering tools. The upgrade slots on each of these items can be filled with various upgrades that offer bonus features or extra effects while the equipment is in use. Recycled items

Rerolls are helpful in the beginning of the game, when you have to build up your inventory and dungeon gear. However, they are not the most effective way to increase your character's stats. You should instead focus on increasing your skill points. You can also earn bonus points by completing event levels.
You can also reroll your character's race with a race-reroll token that can be purchased through the Zen Market. This token lets you change your race only once, and it is redeemable through specific packs or through the Token Shop. Leveling
The attributes of an item and its Power Level will rise when you level up an item as part of an upgrade process.
